Joseph’s Faith Without Hesitation

When I read this passage this morning I was reminded about my grandmother talking about the birth of Jesus and specifically Joseph. I remembered how prominent Joseph was when my grandmother told the story. I haven’t really thought of him much. Meditating on this passage I began to think about how confusing and sad it must have been for Joseph. The love of his life was pregnant and he did not know who the father was. Instead of being vengeful he decides to leave her quietly. Then the angel explains and he accepts her as his wife and Jesus as his son without hesitation. Give me faith to trust god without hesitation even when I do not know the outcome.
